SCULPTURE ON CANVAS

The installation work was like drawing in space. I was free in space, and this freedom even allowed me to come up with outdoor installations. These were extended processes. After 10 years of work between installations and sculptures without support, in 2018, I began to combine mesh and metal. This process represents a new challenge between the form and the composition of different materials in a sculptural space.

Despite the significant attraction of the spectators, I saw difficulties in finding the place of exhibition and access to daily life. This inappropriateness pushed me to proceed with a new form of expression. It is not a question of abandoning installation and sculpture but of widening their limits in order to embrace the world and to act where we live. This process is a simplification of form, to reduce three dimensions in plan. Both a combination of mesh and paint. Through this new work, I would like to talk about the human links, between man and the Universe, God.
