BING-BLANC, 2014

The work Bing, Blanc is the result of the text of the novel 'BING in DEAD HEADS' by Samuel Beckett. In this novel, the image of a dead head extended on the white wall appears, of which the texts on which, there are several repetitive words and phrases. They are "Bing" and "White". I chose to embed these words on my sculpture in order to make them appear in the shadows more clearly. Like a play on words, BING horizontally, WHITE vertically, is akin to the logic of crochet with its stitches. The two elements that make up a plane, here are presented in a three-dimensional space. Paradoxically, the body represents its shadow.
